Kabosu the Shiba Inu became the face of DOGE, the most iconic meme in crypto history. Behind that famous smile was one person, Kabosu Mama.

A little cat is rescued
Kabosu Mama took in a tiny rescued cat, for a while simply known as “chibi neko” (the little cat). She raised the kitten with love and patience.

The name: Mido
She revealed the little one's name is Mido (ミド), taken from “midori”. A soft name for a cat she has cared for ever since.

Shared in a private message
This wasn't a rumor. Kabosu Mama confirmed Mido's name directly, in a private conversation. Screenshot and recording are below. The lore is real.
